Spain is nothing if not enthusiastic about sport, with a highly competitive hockey environment at both the junior and senior club hockey level.
There are many opportunities to get out and enjoy the country’s stunning outdoors, whether you’re along the coast, playing against Polo HC or enjoying some downtime on Bogatell Beach, playing volleyball or experiencing the shopping avenues of Barcelona’s old town, you will always be fascinated by what Spain has to offer!
With world class match and training facilities, a range of hockey teams and abilities to suit a variety of hockey playing levels, a warm clime and excellent cuisine makes Spain one of the most popular and favoured hockey tour destinations.

BEST TIME TO TRAVEL:
March/ April, May and October are the best times to visit Barcelona, the Costa Brava and Valencia which the Spanish clubs are also happy to welcome the UK schools.
Day 1 – Meet at London Gatwick Airport or similar for your outbound flight / arrive and transfer to your Hotel in Sabadell / Check into Hotel and transfer to self- led training session/ tour welcome and briefing and dinner at Hotel
Day 2 – Breakfast followed by a pro-led training session at Atletic Terrassa HC / afternoon transfer to first match against local club, followed by post-match function / evening dinner at Hotel
Day 3 – Breakfast and depart hotel for a guided Barcelona City tour, including Barcelona’s food market, La Boqueria, La Sagrada Familia and the Nou Camp / afternoon transfer to second match against local club, followed by post-match function / evening dinner at Hotel
Day 4 – Breakfast and depart hotel for some free time on Bogatell Beach, including swimming and beach volleyball / afternoon transfer to third and final match against local club, followed by post-match function / evening dinner at local restaurant
Day 5 – Breakfast and check out of hotel / transfer to airport for your return flight home
