South Africa is a country on the southernmost tip of the African continent. Inland safari destination Kruger National Park is populated by big game. The Western Cape offers beaches, lush winelands around Stellenbosch and Paarl, craggy cliffs at the Cape of Good Hope, forest and lagoons along the Garden Route, and the city of Cape Town, beneath flat-topped Table Mountain.

BEST TIME TO TRAVEL:
South African schools and clubs welcome visiting touring teams between April and August, which is during the winter schools sports season.
Day 1 – Depart to Cape Town / arrive and transfer to Hotel in Stellenbosch for 3nts / training session at Stellenbosch University / Welcome dinner at hotel
Day 2 – Breakfast and proceed to venue for pro-led training session, followed by a recovery swim in the hotel pool / lunch and afternoon fixture No. 1 with post-match braai/ barbeque
Day 3 – Breakfast and transfer to Drakenstein Lion Park and Chimp Haven / lunch had at Route 44 Farmer’s Market / Afternoon transfer to fixture No. 2 with post-match function
Day 4 – Breakfast and check out / transfer to Cape Town and check-in to your hotel for the following 7nts on a BB basis / hike up Table Mountain and cable car down – followed by team dinner at V&A Waterfront
Day – Breakfast and proceed to venue for self-led training session / transfer to local school fixture No. 3 / evening dinner included at Quay 4 restaurant at V&A Waterfront
Day 7 – Breakfast and proceed to the base of Lion’s Head for a morning hiking / hike up Lion’s Head Mountain and take in the stunning 360 panoramic peninsula views / transfer to local school fixture No. 4 / dinner included at Gold Restaurant with local drumming and dancing show
Day 8 – Breakfast and transfer to Cape Point for your Cape Peninsula Day tour, includes visits to Boulders ‘Penguins’ Beach, Hout Bay, Seal Island, Chapman’s Peak and Camps Bay Beach / dinner at Hotel
Day 9 – Breakfast and proceed to the V&A Waterfront for your return Robben Island tour experience / enjoy a tour of the island and the museum / afternoon transfer to fixture No. 5 with post-match function / dinner at V&A Waterfront
Day 10 – Day trip to Muizenberg Beach for a guided surf lesson & fish n chips lunch/ Or a TAG Community Outreach Day, which includes a guided Langa Township tour, visit to an Apartheid Museum and an opportunity to coach & inspire a group of young sportsmen from a local school / evening dinner at hotel
Day 11 – Breakfast and check out and transfer to your private Game Lodge along the Garden Route for your BIG 5 experience / afternoon and morning game drives included on a full board basis
Day 12 – Breakfast and check out. Transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your overnight flight home
