A stunning country, with breath-taking coastlines and architecture dating back to the Roman Empire era, Italy is certainly a top contender when it comes to short haul rugby tour destinations!
Groups can enjoy competitive fixtures as well as coaching sessions delivered by full time club coaches/ or players, who have either played or coached in the United Rugby Championship, (URC).
Watch Benetton Rugby Club play, enjoy surfing lessons on one of the many beautiful beaches, play fixtures against friendly local opponents, and take a behind the scenes tour of the San Siro Stadium, home to football giants AC Milan. This is a rugby tour destination that takes some beating!
Another highlight, depending on the fixture schedule, will be watching Benetton play Zebre at their home stadium in Treviso, Stadium Comunale Monigo.

Day 1 – Meet at London Gatwick Airport or similar for your outbound flight / arrive and transfer to your 4* property in Lake Garda for the following 4nts / check in and explore your local surroundings / tour welcome and briefing and dinner at hotel
Day 2 – Breakfast followed by a trip to Lake Garda, which is only a short walk away / enjoy a boat cruise on the lake, which is Italy’s largest freshwater lake / stroll through the village, grab a lunch and a gelato before your afternoon fixture / transfer to first match against local club, followed by post-match function / evening dinner at hotel
Day 3 – Breakfast and Morning at leisure / group to enjoy a day trip to the famous Italian Alps, to Trento / enjoy a surreal guided trekking experience through the Alps / afterwards, head into town to explore the city, the cobbled streets, the castle and to enjoy a local pasta dish
Day 4 – Breakfast and transfer to Verona for a morning of free time exploring the romantic “Romeo & Juliet” city / afternoon transfer to the third fixture vs local club which will include match refreshments
Day 5 – Breakfast and morning at leisure / transfer to Gardaland Theme Park which you will be able to spend the full day at leisure / Located on the banks of lake Garda, the theme park is one of the oldest theme parks in Europe / evening dinner at hotel
Day 6 – Breakfast and check out of hotel / transfer to airport for your return flight home
